Trapped within an old “Game Kid” cartridge from the 90’s is a monster catching adventure game. This game, however, isn’t normal. This game is corrupted. This game is evil. This game is Beasts of Burden.
Play in a world that stays true to its 1990’s inspiration in a world that will send you through a loop of deranged nostalgia, where even the most innocent object has a sinister underlying meaning. Battle enemy trainers and their beasts, capture wild animals to do your bidding, and open the curtains on the dark story hiding behind everything.

Android has been broken for a while because of version mismatch and I can't update it until the remake is done. I should probably just take it down, I was just hoping to have the remake done sooner

heyo i would like to report a bug
when i played the game and opened the item menu (b or something i think i dont really remember) and then opened the main menu (esc) and then closed it again (esc) i was unable to move
happened in the steam version tho i dunno if there is something different in the itch version
by the way is the steam version perchance at a slightly later release than the itch version?
Hello! Both versions are the same release, this was my first game and I'm currently completely rebuilding it as that's the only way I can fix some of these bugs, in the meantime I created a video on how to resolve and avoid the most common bugs including the one you mentioned:
The cause of that bug is that openeing your bag takes control away from the player whereas pausing just stops time, to fix it just open and close the bag using B again, and to avoid it always use B to close your bag instead of esc.Sorry for the issues! I'm working on getting a new and heavily improved release as fast as I can

Hey, I'm aware of this issue and unfortunately to fix it I have to completely rebuild the game and fix all of the novice code from the ground up which I'm currently working on. I apologize for the issues.
